Loans that become over 120 days past due are written off as uncollectible, and sold to a debt buyer authorized and willing to purchase consumer loans. Proceeds, if any, from the sale, less expenses of sale, will be paid to you. I hadn't checked the forums in many months and was SHOCKED to see that 1) the old forums got deleted and 2) they're now strictly moderated/censored.<BR/><BR/>The reason I got on the forums was to check up on the inevitable "when is Prosper going to sell Bad Debt" threads.<BR/><BR/>My recollection of the terms of service I agreed to when I signed up many moons ago was that Prosper *would* (not might) sell off bad debt if it was 6 months old.<BR/><BR/>Do you happen to have that old language sitting around?
